We are a PADI dive centre (R 34007) and
offer a full range of PADI courses.

These include:

PADI international

Bubblemakers – A fun and exciting program for 8 – 11yr olds.

We can give kids their first experience of scuba diving in a safe, fun environment, blowing bubbles and playing underwater games in the swimming pool.

Discover Scuba Diving – The perfect way to start diving.

We offer a FREE scuba pool lesson every day at 2 pm with a PADI dive instructor.
When you have discovered how easy and enjoyable it is, and are comfortable in the water, you can go for a dive. This is under the direct supervision of an instructor, and to a maximum depth of 12 metres/40ft.

The dive site is very protected and shallow, and has a phenomenal amount of things to see – beautiful hard and soft corals and more fish than a Japanese trawlers’ freezer hold. The dive leaves at 10am and returns before 12noon.

But don’t forget that if you want to go for a dive it has to be 12 hours before you fly so don’t leave it to the last day!

CERTIFICATION COURSES

PADI Scuba Diver

This an excellent course if you are an occasional diver or have limited time on your holiday to spend studying. It will take 2 days and will give a certification to dive anywhere in the world, under the supervision of a Divemaster or Instructor, to a maximum depth of 12 metres/ 40 feet.

Then, next time you are on holiday, you can upgrade your certification level to Open Water Diver in just another 2 days.

PADI Open Water Diver

This certification level enables you to dive independently (with a buddy) to a maximum depth of 18 metres/60 ft and rent dive equipment anywhere in the world. It takes 4/5 days to complete an open water course, which involves some self study, skill development sessions in the swimming pool, and 4 open water dives.

If you have the opportunity it could be a good idea to buy the PADI Open Water manual at home before you come on holiday, read it and complete the knowledge reviews before you come – it doesn’t take too long, and means that you don’t feel like you are working on holiday – just having fun!

The number of students on our certification courses is deliberately limited. Unless by special request, no more than 4 students means that everyone gets plenty of time with the instructor to get comfortable and relaxed with their skills, and plenty of actual diving time on their certification dives.

Referrals

Another option for the scuba diver or open water is to go to your local dive centre and complete all the theory and, if you want, all the skill development sessions before you come to sunny Fiji.

Then when you are here, bring us your referral form and we can complete the rest of your course in warm, blue tropical waters – definitely a more enjoyable option for those of you from colder climes.

PADI Adventure Dives and Advanced Diver

The next step. Venture a little deeper on your deep dive. Amaze yourself by knowing where you are on your navigation dive. Put very little effort into your drift dive. Learn to identify some of the abundant underwater life on your naturalist dive. Realise it’s pretty damn dark on your night dive. Capture the moment on your photography dive.

A lot more to choose from, but you only need 5 to complete your advanced diver course. Any dives that you particularly enjoy you can follow up by doing a specialty diver course.

PADI Rescue Diver

Learn how to avoid getting into difficulties underwater – and how to help someone who hasn’t taken this course and is having problems. A must for anyone who wants to dive regularly. If you are serious about diving, we also do the PADI Divemaster course. The first step on the ladder of professional diving.
