Diveaway has a small but dedicated staff.

Based at the Outrigger on the Lagoon dive shop we have Alfie, he is a Divemaster and he is excellent person to pop down to the dive shop and have a chat to about diving, he can give you guidance to suit your diving needs whether you are a complete beginner or an experienced diver he is there to make sure you get the write information for your needs. The dive shop at Outrigger is based under the pizza restaurant and next to activities, you will also see him walking around the pool so if you do - say “Bula” and have a chat!

At Rydges Hideaway we have Mere who is our smiley face behind the counter she is there to help with bookings questions and she is our number one snorkel guide! She is also working her way up to become a dive guide she has just completed her Advanced Course and is now in the process of doing her Rescue!

Salo is our main boat driver -  he moves between Rydges Hideaway and Mango Bay making sure the boats are in good shape and takes us safely to where we want to go on our dives. He is also furthering his diving qualifications, he has competed his Open Water course and is also now doing his Advanced course.

Tuks can do a bit of everything, jack of all trades! An experienced boat driver, in the past a St Johns ambulance driver, and is just about to complete his Divemaster….. Tuks also works between Rydges Hideaway and Mango Bay, his smiley face and energy rubs off on all of us - one day we hope he will become an instructor!

Te is one of our longest employees, as a Divemaster he travels between Rydges Hideaway and Mango Bay taking certified divers diving. If you have dived with us before I’m sure most of you have had a dive with Te, he knows all the dive sites like the back of his hand and can find all the cool critters on the dive.

Epi started working with Diveaway about 9 months ago as a boat driver, he has already proved he is a vital part of the Diveaway team!

Alex is the Bosso! We came to Fiji 7 years ago and set up Diveaway Fiji first at Rydges Hideaway then Mango Bay and lastly Outrigger and Beachouse. The weather, life style, people, environment are more enjoyable than the UK plus it gives our 3 children the opportunity to be brought up on a tropical island! Alex is a very experienced dive Instructor. He is in charge of the dive shops he still loves to get his feet wet!

Alice, I am in charge of the Office! Plus 3 kids, and anything else that comes my way, if need be I am also a PADI instructor so get called in to blow bubbles which is great!

Lastly we have 3 PADI instructors from overseas. We employ these instructors on a 6 month basis, though often they like it so much they stay longer!  Dive instructors!
